A Taper Bush Pulley (interchangeable with a taper lock pulley) is a two-piece industrial pulley system consisting of a precision-machined pulley wheel and a split, conical taper bushing. This configuration utilizes a heavy wedging mechanism to clamp the pulley concentrically onto a drive shaft, eliminating the need for custom reboring, heat-shrinking, or using damaging set screws.
